Venezuelan lawmakers gave initial approval to a bill granting President Hugo Chavez the power to rule by decree for 18 months so that he can impose sweeping economic, social and political change.

hmmmm...Venezuela? I wonder how much difference it could be from Cuba? Although, the Cuba thing was during the Cold War, and their alliance with the Russians etc. and all made it a threat to us. Hitler: I don't think Vene is much like Germany in it's hayday of the time. Maybe I'm wrong? I am in a little hole.
